IT Infrastructure Engineer | Server Administrator | Datacenter Operations Specialist

I’m Sangeeth M K, an IT Infrastructure Engineer with over years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience, including 6+ years in enterprise datacenter operations and 3+ years supporting banking infrastructure. I currently support ESAF Small Finance Bank through Soffit Infrastructure Services, where I manage DC–DR environments, administer Windows Server and RHEL systems, and operate VMware infrastructure supporting 24×7 mission-critical workloads.

My role focuses on ensuring high availability, security compliance, and disaster recovery readiness through patch management and OS hardening, backup and restoration validation, quarterly DR drills, and firewall and VPN administration using SOPHOS and Fortinet platforms. In addition to core infrastructure operations, I oversee L1 support teams, manage shift-based 24×7 operations, coordinate with vendors for business application support, prepare patch compliance, ITAM and KRI reports for audits and management review in high-availability, audit-driven environments.

Age Guessing AI

I built an AI-powered Age Guessing Web App that predicts a person’s age from their uploaded photo. The frontend is designed with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and the backend uses a TensorFlow model hosted on Hugging Face, integrated through a secure API. And a visitor counter powered by Azure Functions and SQL Database for analytics.

RHEL Application Control

This project demonstrates an RPM-based application control solution designed to strengthen security on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. It provides system administrators with granular control over which applications can be installed or executed, following Zero Trust principles. Core features include whitelisting and blacklisting RPM packages, along with real-time monitoring of application execution. This technical demo showcases the core functionality and the ongoing development of a robust application control framework for enterprise environments.
